Massimo Meucci Garden Designer
Massimo Meucci is a renowned Garden Designer with extensive experience in the design and construction of gardens and green areas. With over two decades of experience in the industry, Meucci has earned a reputation for excellence through unwavering dedication and expertise in gardening and plant care.
After receiving specialised training in agronomy, Meucci launched his career at the Istituto Agronomico per l’Oltremare in Florence, where he served as the Head of Tropical Greenhouses. In this role, he effectively managed the maintenance and cultivation of a diverse array of tropical and subtropical plants, showcasing a deep understanding of their unique requirements.
Subsequently, Meucci applied his expertise at the Municipality of Florence, serving as the Head of Municipal Greenhouses and Event Decorations. Here, he distinguished himself by expertly maintaining and cultivating a diverse range of plants in the municipal greenhouses, as well as creating stunning floral displays for public events in the heart of Florence.
In 2006, Meucci founded Meucci Garden s.a.s., marking the beginning of a new chapter in his career as an entrepreneur in the green industry. Leading a team of skilled gardeners, arborists, and irrigation system technicians, he managed the care and maintenance of greenery in prestigious locations, including Villa Le Rose Park and the Villa Cora Hotel in Florence, among many others.
In 2019, Meucci further expanded his endeavours by founding Ma.ro Società Cooperativa, where he continued to excel in garden care and maintenance. Among the most notable projects undertaken by the cooperative are the landscape management for the Hotel Augustus, Lido Villa Agnelli, and Bagno Bambaissa, all located in Forte dei Marmi, as well as the maintenance of the Biodynamic Garden at the Hotel Hermitage in Forte dei Marmi.
